ABOUT THIS BOOK AND OTHER THINGS
This series is about fairy and fae and how they might evolve. It is meant for parents to read to their children as i did for mine. Yes I do see spirits and fairies. No, it is not a big deal. There are no heavy scenes, no overt violence, no sexual deviations. There is love, and predicaments and humor. There is no religion or worship. Nothing is required of the reader and no knowledge base denied or adopted. What you see in these pages are based upon my experiences, my knowledge and my ancestry.

Once upon a time in a deep dark wood lived a Blue Fairy called Jet. Her home was inside a hole in a huge oak tree. Jet had lived there since she could remember which was not very long in human years.
It was lovely in her tree. The sun filtered down through the limbs and kept everything aglow. All the acorns and leaves and mushrooms and twigs on the forest floor basked in the light as Jet wandered through them. Her job, as fairies always have a very specific job, was tending the mushrooms. She carried a folded leaf with a drop of water inside and would rub water all over the mushrooms if they asked politely. And it seems the mushrooms were always thirsty!
Mushrooms were very important to her tree; Tinadore. Tinadore was an ancient oak and scattered her acorns all about the forest floor. Some would burst into greenery every spring. It was the job of the mushrooms to help Tinadore communicate with her children. If the children were having a problem she would hear about it and adjust her timing the next spring so the baby acorns would have a better chance.
Everyday Jet would happily gather a dewdrop and visit her mushroom friends. Sometimes a squirrel would drop by and ask Tinadore if she could give her an acorn or two to store away for winter. Tinadore always said yes and to take as many as they wanted. The wise oak tree knew the squirrels would bury them all and eventually forget where some of the acorns were

Jet's Fairy Ring is a fairy tale of a blue fairy. The Story is light with heart. There is passing, birth, friends, and work. Jet lives with her mother deep in a forest. After her mother passes Jet ventures out into the world and finds many wonders, and many friends. 18 full color illustrations and a fairy glossary are included. The glossary is to help understand more difficult words in an easy maner and also shed some light on fairy lore.

Jet and Dart meet a giant! Dart learns to talk with the giant. Jet and Fern attend another fairy ring and both have children. The giant builds a new home for Jet's family.
JET AND THE FAE
Book three of Jet the Blue Fairy series
Jet and the Fae is the third book of Jet the Blue Fairy series. Four human children interact closely with fairy friends. The children start a fairy club and learn about herbal science. They also build fairy houses. Eventually all four children are admitted into the inner fairy circles and learn enough to be called fae. The children and fairies are wary and considerate of human frailties and so keep quiet about many things. But their interaction not only helps the fairies but the townspeople where they live. Rightfully the town celebrates the children and the fairies thank them. Three fairy villiages are started, and fairies come from all over because of the wondrous happenings there. Also the surrounding countryside benefits from both fairies and the children. Crops are better and more plentiful, and the children have success healing folk mostly with herbs.
JET AND THE DRAGON
Book 4 of Jet the Blue Fairy series
Jet and the Dragon continues the Jet series about her family and relation to humans and other fairies. Fairy villiages and the town Bechtel evolve together and grow. Many interesting things happen to the human fae children as they help their community heal and grow. One of the fae children evolves beyond expectation and travels to another world. The fairies encounter baby dragons and fairy children have a great time with them. Fairy villiages grow and a beauty salon is establiished. A Pricess is crowned in Fairy HIll Villiage. Jet reaches beyond the veil of the spirit world and sees her mother again. The story is light hearted laced with humor. Also there is heart value in parting and reuniting. Concepts of fairy dynamics are treated with respect and our myths are consulted where appropriate.
THE FAE RETURN
Book 5 of Jet the Blue Fairy series.
Raneld is now living in Pan, a world past the Three Hills. Jet and Fern move in together and Handfast. A crises is averted in Bechtel and the Fae are adopted whole heartedly by the whole town. Emily gains the ability to shrink to the size of a fairy.
About the Author, Mia Story
Hi! My Grandmother first taught me about fairies. She had a wondrous garden full of so many different plants, and she grew her own food. My Grandparents survived the great depression with that garden. My grandfather built his own home and garden walls and other things with his own hands. I have been writing about fairies for a long time. I raised two children, taught them to read, and homeschooled them. I know the values of reading to your kids. These books were meant to be read by parents to their children. But I tried to make them entertaining to both. The illustrations are painted from scratch on my computer with a tablet and photoshop.
